Revolution

Another fantastic review of Alexander’s book, The Watch: A Twentieth-Century Style History, appeared in the December issue of Revolution. Written by Ken Kessler, who had already written a review for the online version of the magazine, this print version is even more fulsome in its praise for the book. He writes “I am not sure what to admire most about this remarkable book: its comprehensiveness, the physical print quality, the incredible value-for-money or. . . the devilishly clever way it has avoided the issue of “no boundaries”. . . . Visit your local bricks-and-mortar bookstore, Amazon, or whatever is your preferred source, and buy a copy. This just may be the best single-volume study of our passion to date.”
